An Alternative State of the Union
By David Luckey

The time in which we are living is chaotic. Let us now, together, craft a global resolution to cease-fire in every area of the world and restore balance to our Mother Earth. Let us bathe together in our Father Sun.

The state of the Nation, the nation of America, is a state which may be described as chaotic; uncertain, fear-driven, greedy, full of religious-hypocrisy, selfish and dishonest, to name a few. It is similar to a lot of other countries around the globe. I am certain that the state of the nation is going to improve in a relatively short period of time. It must and it shall, because we the people of the United States of America are a people of great compassion and understanding. When we talk, we are similar to E. F. Hutton in so far as, “people listen!” We establish what is good and fair, what is right and wrong, what we will and will not tolerate. The people have spoken and we demand change. Let us watch together as the politicians scramble to keep up with the spiritual-conscious-energy that has reached an all time high in our American culture. Watch as mainstream media and corporate conglomerates play “spiritual- public-correctness-marketing-games,” thinking that by adjusting their external image they will escape accountability for the horrors of their actions and inactions.

Should we, the people forgive our corrupt politicians and corporate-mafiosos? We must forgive! While it may be hard to fathom for some, and quite easy for others, authentic forgiveness through demonstration must begin to take place within our nation lest we destroy ourselves from the inside out. It is time to stop looking for the differences amongst ourselves and begin looking for the similarities. Let us ask again, “what can we do to help?” We are all part of history, and history is now. Let us celebrate together the “end-of-mean-kind.” Mean people will begin to be held accountable in the eyes of the people of the world. They will begin to know more and more, that efforts viewed as “mean” will not go unnoticed by their group of peers, and that accountability measures will naturally begin to develop at a more rapid rate than previously conceived.

Technological advancements have begun entering the public sector at a much faster pace than ever before in the history of the human civilization. This is a time in which those with spiritual beliefs should gather and experience the similarities of one another. As the world grows, so does it get smaller in its “fragmentatious-groupings.” The face of the planet is changing with and without our approval. It is, however, our responsibility to usher in the Great Spirit which soars through the veins of every thing fancied and real.

The current United States of America government is an outdated module. It is time to restructure this great nation of ours, and become the 21st century leader in the facilitation of “global-linkability.” What this means is that taking care of our neighbor now becomes paramount to the survivability of our so-called-great-nation. If we are to bring our troops home, if we are to change the way in which corporations conduct business, if we are to change the traditional political climate and become creative pioneers in global social reform, then it is up to us, now, to “invest locally and share globally.”

“It takes a village to raise an idiot” say some. The village of the United States of America is extremely divided and needs to take time in order to heal some extremely deep and devastating wounds, such as the racism and classism so prevalent in today’s media. We are hearing more and more about the “Illuminati” and statements such as, “the top 1% of the world’s wealthy are controlling the media and the public’s access to developing information vital to the health and welfare of the Earth’s inhabitants.” That is only a half-truth. The truth could be that we, the people, are the ones allowing such disparity to continue as it did before we migrated to this country - a time in which we also suffered, and beyond our current understanding. I see little difference between the tyrannical rule of King George and the tyrannical governance of the bogusly-placed, George Jr., and all his generational, familial and friendly cronies.
The time of standing by and passively accepting poverty, war, and violence is over! Welcome to the end of “mean-kind!”
